Manufactured circa 1880s. Two line company address and patent dates on top of the barrel. Matching serials on the cylinder and butt. Cylinder latch is a replacement. 3-1/4" barrel with half moon front sight and v-notch rear. Reapplied silver finish with the trigger, hammer, cylinder star, front sight and some screws being blued. Fine period added 95% coverage floral engraving with a punch dot background. Period mother of pearl grips as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its reapplied silver finish. Some tarnish/areas of dullness. Some pitting can be seen under the finish on the cylinder face and around the muzzle. Some of the screws appear to be replacements. Grips are excellent. Bore has a frosted surface. Some pitting. Good overall rifling. Hammer is tight. Cylinder has some side-side movement. CALIBER: .38 S&W. FFL STATUS: Antique. S/N: 74150.
